Broome Hospital

I presented to the ED early hours of March 18 2022. I was looked after by very caring doctors. On March 19 I was flown down to Perth for further diagnosis and an MRI.I have been down in Perth ever since. I have a life threatening fungal infection.Without the prompt actions of the ED doctors I may not be alive today.With out their professionalism i wouldn't be here.From the bottom of my heart I thank you all very much and owe you so much.My deepest gratitude to you all.Michelle Linton.

I was looked after amazingly by Dr Bird and Dr Casey and by all the nurses in the ED. Then two days in observation the nurses doctors and surgeons were so kind and caring. I was 10,000 miles from home in the UK and felt so safe in their hands. Broome is lucky to have such a dedicated and professional group of clinicians. Thanks to all of you for looking after me so well.

Would like to thank the staff at Broome hospital, they were very polite and clearly spoken. I was seen to quickly. They showed in the way they worked that they enjoy helping people, didn't talk with colleagues about issues infront of clients or complain about their day. They helped me and I would just like to say thank you. Very clean and very professional.

Sincere thanks to nurses and doctors at Broome Hospital for their professional and caring treatment during my recent time there. Could not have asked for more. A wonderful example of the high standard of Australia’s public health system!

I can say the staff at the hospital are lovely but the obvious mis communication made my stay for a surgery disappointing. I’m a T2 diabetic and have allergies one including lactose intolerant. For my dinner post surgery I was offered soup and a sandwich and ice cream which being diabetic and lactose intolerant means I could have it. The next morning I was given breakfast early as they needed us out to clean the beds for the nexts days patients. So this time I got cereal and soy milk, good toast with 2 jams and orange juice. Again my blood sugar levels were still high due to the drugs and fasting. Why would you offer these to a T2 diabetic? It just baffles me. This I think was due to a communication error. Isn’t diet an important part of health? This scares me if this happens to kids as they don’t have the control of adults

Maternity ward is amazing, Jane and Tracey are the best midwives I've ever met and made my experience way better than I had expected. I had the best possible birth of my daughter and they all made me feel safe and understood. Great staff.

Yesterday I attended ED at Broome Hospital. I received outstanding and professional service from beginning to end. A special thank you to Dr Chapman for her caring assistance.

I just want to thank all staffI had a fall and presented to the hospital I had broken arm and gravel rash on my face.The staff at the ED were fantastic manipulated my arm with so much care.I have had to present back to the hospital 3 more times with my arm.Every staff member I dealt with Emergency Department, Xray Department, Fracture Clinic, Receptionists, Covid Testing were friendly helpful and amazing.Wendy Ford

Professional, kind caring staff. All the staff were very attentive towards our daughter and her 8 month old boy. A good outcome too. Thank you all for your dedication and kindness.

I was looked after by an absolutely caring nurse by the name of Sascha GregoryShe was not only caring and warm towards me , but to the others in the hospital. I can honestly say she treated every patient in my vicinity with old fashioned intergrety and warmth. I do hope this public review reaches her. The doctors and all staff were very nice for that opinion
